Kanteena Yard Party Up and coming vinyl DJs ‘Pip n Peeko’ will be hosting a full yard takeover in May. Kicking off there summer in style with a top tier line up at the ready.
‘On Saturday May 2nd we’re looking forward to delivering an all day party with a mix of talented vinyl DJs and some of the best rising indie bands in the North West’
Here’s what to expect
Dane Shields - Blending classic disco releases with modern disco edits
C side sessions - Bringing selections of Indie, Psych, Hip/Hop, Soul, New Wave and more, spanning across all decades and ranging from classics to deep cuts.
Gregg Brady - Expect a stylish mashup of indie, shoegaze, disco and hip hop
Pip n Peeko - Hopefully providing a lively and energetic set creating a festival like atmosphere. The spine should be filled with indie bangers past and present. As well as some versatility covering music genres spanning across the generations including soul, disco, punk, electronic and dance classics.
The Gears -
The Gears deliver a lively set of catchy, self-penned indie rock originals alongside crowd-pleasing covers, combining youthful energy with tight musicianship well beyond their years. Despite being just 16 years old, the band have already been playing together for over three years, constantly gigging and gaining a growing following making them one of the youngest active bands in the area.
The Silver Bars -
The Silver Bars are an indie rock outfit
hailing from Barrow-in-Furness,
carving out their own space in the
UK’s vibrant alternative scene. Known
for their high-energy live shows, they quickly made a name for themselves on the local
circuit before turning heads further
afield. A string of EP’s and singles
has since seen the band land slots at major festivals including Kendal Calling and YNOT, as well as support slots for Jake Bugg, The
Royston Club, and Scouting for Girls.
