Zapata will provide an overview of what wetlands are and explore the many functions and values they offer—both across the landscape and right in our own backyards. She’ll highlight wetland-specific plants and share ideas for turning soggy lawns into beautiful spaces that support birds and pollinators.Zapata will also touch on when wetland permitting may be needed, depending on the scope of a project.
