Sarasota County is home to over 6,000 ponds, with one likely in your very own community. While ponds can provide scenic views, green space, and other community benefits. Managed improperly, these features can often be the source of resident complains. Learn about the structure and function of these ponds, why they are so important to your community, and UF/IFAS Extension Sarasota County's recommended best management practices.
