ALL ABOUT NOTHING :- An experiential solo where you witness an unfolding; an unfolding of the performer’s philosophical queries about life and its priorities. A realisation that ultimately everything- things, relationships, these routines, human constructs, are all illusions of our own making. There IS nothing, and yet there is everything. The work urges the viewer to question, what is the truth? Why do we hold onto an imagined truth, often missing the bigger reality? Can we see beyond? This work deeply resonates with the following statement made by the father of Butoh, Kazuo Ohno, ‘ Art cant be taught. I believe that a piece of work comes out naturally from a human just like one human comes out of another.
