Join us for a fun, all ages welcome class called ‘All About Honeybees’! Lead by David Willis, a registered beekeeper and owner of Central Alabama Honey & Apiary (a family-owned and operated apiary here in Shelby County, AL) this program is an engaging introductory program designed to explore the fascinating world of honeybees and their vital role in our environment. This class introduces participants to the basics of honeybee biology, hive structure, and the important work bees do to ensure the health of our ecosystem.
Perfect for kids, gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and anyone curious about bees, this class provides a friendly and informative introduction to the incredible lives of honeybees.
Space is limited for this program, so registration is required. To register for the class, please call Park Event Coordinator Anna Jones at #205-620-2536. There is no fee to participate in the class, but the park does charge an entrance fee.
