About this Event

The 2nd Annual All-Abilities ERG Leadership Summit 2024 is proudly hosted by Mutual of Omaha and the Center for Disability Inclusion. At this summit, you’ll connect with local leaders and explore key topics in inclusivity and leadership.

We’ll kick off with a welcome and networking session hosted by:

Monika Mondrakas – President of Advocates for All Abilities (A3) at Mutual of Omaha
Terri Kingsbury – Vice President of Advocates for All Abilities (A3) at Mutual of Omaha
Meaghan Walls – Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Disability Inclusion

This will be a great opportunity to mingle and get an overview of the day. Refreshments will be provided.

Our keynote speaker, Gail Graeve, Vice President of Social Impact at Mutual of Omaha, will share insights on the power of authenticity in the workplace and its impact on creating a supportive environment.

Following that, a DEI 101 presentation will be led by:

Vanessa Martinez-Hernandez – Social Impact Coordinator, Mutual of Omaha
Shanika McPhaull – Social Impact Program Manager, Mutual of Omaha

This session will cover essential concepts such as inclusive language, unconscious bias, and allyship.

Finally, join Jamie Watson, Program Engagement Chair for Advocates for All Abilities (A3) at Mutual of Omaha, for a roundtable discussion where you’ll reflect on the day’s topics, share your experiences, and commit to actions that foster open and empathetic communication within your workplace.

Expect a morning filled with valuable insights, engaging conversations, and actionable takeaways to drive positive change in your workplace.

This will be a hybrid meeting, but we highly recommend attending in person for the best experience. The summit is designed to foster connections and encourage active participation, which tends to be more effective in person. However, a virtual option will also be offered for those who find it works best for their schedule or needs.
