About this Event
Alison Leiby almost died at 19 from a spine surgery complication and only made it thanks to a rare, experimental procedure. In the more than 20 years that have followed she's been asking the question "Is it really worth surviving when being alive is a constant humiliation?"
In an hour of mostly new and some worked out material, Leiby reframes what it means to live when everything is hard, stupid, and embarrassing.
