In this interactive workshop, you’ll gain a better understanding of why it’s important for small business owners to lead with their values and then take steps to start creating better alignment between your values and your business. This workshop will be led by two fellow small business owners and co-founders of Emerald Hour, Seattle’s only sustainable wedding collective, who have built businesses that reflect their values and share a passion for helping other business owners do the same!
In this workshop, we will:
- Review why it’s more important than ever to align our business with our values and how this benefits us as small business owners
- Take time to identify our core values
- Explore examples from other values-based businesses
- Take inventory of where our values currently show up in our business
- Brainstorm new ways to incorporate our values & decide on one immediate action item

About the Speakers: Hannah Paukstis is the owner of the Hummingbird Event Co. and Marla Manes is the owner of Marla Manes Photography. Both are co-founders of Emerald Hour, an organization for sustainable wedding professionals in the Pacific Northwest whose mission is to empower wedding vendors to build more sustainable businesses and create environmentally conscious events.
