Equinox Stillness: A Meditation for Subtle Renewal
As the Earth tilts gently toward a new season and the Sun crosses the equator on March 20, we gather in meditation not for spectacle, but for quiet presence. On this day of nearly equal day and night, the sky invites us to rest in balance, to notice the soft edges of change rising like early green shoots, not with fanfare, but with gentle persistence.
In this session, we’ll sit in silence and awareness, letting stillness be our guide and subtlety our teacher.
This isn’t a grand earth-shaking transit it’s a reminder that not every shift arrives with fireworks. Some unfold like the lengthening of dawn, the quiet deepening of breath, or the tender easing of winter into spring. Here, we practice showing up for the smallest movements of the heart and the breath, honoring the quiet transitions that often go unnoticed.
Together we’ll:
• Rest in receptive silence.
• Attend to the subtle shifts in sensation and calm.
• Anchor in balanced presence as day and night stand in harmony.
This meditation is an offering to the quiet rhythms inside and above us a chance to practice deep listening.
