After a long time away from the basement, João Melgueira and his label Alienação return to Desterro to write a bright new chapter in his - and our - life. As always we expect only the unexpected, knowing that Melgueira carries with him the will and skill to move from the most sweaty dance music to moments of introspection, without ever losing energy or meaning. co-founder and owner of Maquiavel label).
He's co-host of Fungo Transmission radio show (Radio Quântica). He's also host of Amanita Muscaria show at Internet Public Radio.
His music has been released by Medical Records Transfusions [USA], Fungo, Paraíso/Rave Tuga, Extended Records, Rádio Quântica, Alienação, Freima Labs, Blackline Records [Portugal], Mands Music and Moira Audio Recordings [Hungary].
Currently he is finishing his 4rth studio album. "Blow" will be
released this year in September by Maquiavel, on vinyl and digital
format.
