About this Event
We are pleased to share that our collective efforts are making a difference. Our joint statement and public comments on the Mecklenburg County Behavioral Health Strategic Plan were well received by the county team, and several of the changes we proposed have been incorporated into the final plan. This is a significant step forward, and we now have the opportunity to work together to turn this plan into action. It is crucial that we ensure the county invests in prevention programs and addresses the specific needs of the Latino community.
To begin working on the implementation plan, we are coordinating a meeting with the County on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the Latin American Coalition. Please register today to come to the meeting. We look forward to continuing our work together to enhance behavioral health services in our community.
