About this Event

DC Casineros Dance Company is bringing two amazing Casino Dance instructors to Washington DC all the way from Ukraine! Alexander and Alicia!

DANCING STYLES THEY ARE TEACHING:

a) Casino (popularly referred as Cuban salsa)

b) Rueda de casino

c) Son Cubano

e) Cuban mambo, cha-cha-cha, rumba guaguanco

f) Cuban lady styling and body movement


IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS:

Champions of numerous dance competitions, organizers of successful dance school, international workshops, ambassadors of the Cuban Embassy in Ukraine - all this attracts the attention of dancers and teachers around the world.


Alexander was a vice-president of "Casino Para Todos Federacion" for 5 years.

He is also the author of a book on the history of Cuban dances.


Alexander and Alicia represent the Founding group of Cuban dance in Havana, which is alive history, so they really convey first-hand dance experience.


The popularity of their work in Europe, in Latin America - not only due to the most interesting methods of teaching Cuban dances, but also due to the production of bright Latin American parties, authentic Cuban Rueda, show productions, master classes for the best teachers in different countries of the world.


THE MISSION:

of Alexander and Alicia is the development of Latin American culture, a demonstration of the beauty, attractiveness of the authentic Cuban dance Casino (Salsa Cubano), and most importantly, the availability for everyone to plunge into the world of vivid impressions and pleasure in pair dance.
