"Libby DeCamp is an artist to watch in the year ahead" - Detroit Free Press
Alex Teller: Alex Teller is a Modern-Day Troubadour sharing sounds of Vintage Country & Western, Traditional Folk, Bluegrass and Folk-Blues. He has spent the last three years on the road, touring the U.S, writing songs, and playing stages all over the country. His music is like a ballad to the lore of storytelling & the High Lonesome Sound, taking inspiration from names like Townes Van Zandt, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, and Jimmie Rodgers to name a few.
Libby DeCamp: Libby DeCamp is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist on the rise based in Detroit, MI. Her songs evoke the spirit of roots music from bygone eras, drawing inspiration from prewar blues, old-time string bands, early R&B, and old country. With one foot in the past and an eye on the future, Libby is a writer who tugs at the ageless thread of truth-telling and communal spirit through song, and tramps into continuous new territories- even at times bordering the mystical and psychedelic. Her lyrical, brave beat-poetry reminiscent edge and sweet, bluesy, un-prettied voice and hearty social commentary ome from the gut and create something delightfully rare- whether solo accompanied with resonator guitar, or in the full picture of her band’s unique string and groove-centered alchemy. Her 2021 self-released debut album, "Westward and Faster" was received with a curious cult-following excitement, self co-produced with Adam Schreiber and recorded by Grammy Award-winning engineers Oz Fritz and Mark "Mooka" Rennick at Prairie Sun Studios (notable for producing Tom Waits's "Mule Variations", John Hammond's "Wicked Grin", works by Ramblin' Jack Elliott, and many more). Libby has shared the shows with giants such as The Black Keys, John Sinclair, Langhorne Slim, and Timber Timbre, and provided national tour support for Cat Clyde, CW Stoneking, and shows no sign of slowing momentum as she writes and travels the country, guitar in hand.
