Rooted in fingerstyle guitar, subtle arrangements and deeply reflective songwriting, Keep It Moving captures the quiet transitions that shape our lives — between places, moments and states of mind.
Recorded across New York, Massachusetts and Poland, the album offers a stripped-back, immersive listening experience where voice, texture and storytelling take center stage.
This evening, curated in collaboration with Songbirds Kraków, unfolds as a gathering for the local singer-songwriter community and beyond. Expect a carefully selected playlist of Alex’s influences and favourites, a dedicated listening session featuring tracks from the new album, and a special live acoustic performance by the artist alongside invited musical guests.
Set in the warm, neighbourhood atmosphere of Liberty, this is less a concert and more a shared listening experience — a space to slow down, connect and engage with music in its most personal form.

ALEX RAINER s a singer-songwriter and composer, originally from New York City, whose music blends intimate folk storytelling with classical and electronic influences. He has released music under his own name since 2003, including the EPs Sea Age (2013) and Pulaski (2016), and the album Time Changes (2020), which was hailed as “loveliness itself” by AnEarful.
An active performer in the United States and Europe, Rainer has opened for musician Steve Gunn, and collaborates with fellow folk and experimental artists. He also composes for theater and multimedia – including original work for Kraków, Poland’s Proscenium Theater in 2025. He produces much of his work through his own studio, Sangcoby Sound. His new album, Keep It Moving, explores reflective, character-driven songs that trace change, memory, and the quiet resilience of moving forward.
