In Pluiventez, magic hides in gemstones, and only eighteen-year-old Zephyr Tanisen can find them. Rescued from danger by Holdrent, a powerful Algemeric, she is drawn into a rare romance, epic battles, and awakening ancient magic. With war approaching, Zephyr must fight to survive and decide between love, loyalty, and herself.
Alex Michael is a lifelong storyteller and author of twelve novels. Her debut YA fantasy, The Gemstone Collector, is her first published novel and entry into self-publishing. A graduate of Western Washington University and the Denver Publishing Institute, Alex loves reading, traveling, collecting books, and chasing Phish concerts. She is also a proud Toastmaster, balancing speaking and adventures with her writing.

Brittany Micka-Foos is the author of the chapbook a litany of words as fragile as window glass (Bottlecap Press, 2024). Her short stories, essays, and poetry have appeared in Ninth Letter, Witness, Literary Mama, Identity Theory, NonBinary Review, CALYX Journal, Briar Cliff Review, and elsewhere. A former victim's rights lawyer, Brittany lives in Bellingham, WA, with her family.
