During the past decade, Alex has made a name for herself in Buffalo and beyond as a passionate singer who relies on her love for creativity, storytelling, and genuine expression to guide her musical journey. With her warm and soulful voice covering multiple octaves, Alex presents a diverse and expanding repertoire that transcends genres, offering vivid and distinctive performances. Based in Buffalo, NY, she maintains a busy schedule collaborating with composers and musicians from various backgrounds, bringing narratives to life and vividly illustrating stories through her vocals.
Prior to becoming a member of the Eastman faculty in late 1997, Sneider spent several years on tour with the two-time Grammy Award winner Chuck Mangione. He has also collaborated with a range of renowned artists such as Nat Adderley, Joe Locke, Don Menza, Lou Donaldson, Joey Defrancesco, Pat Bianchi, Gary Versace, Pat Labarbara, Grant Stewart, Ken Peplowski, Gerry Niewood, Chris Potter, Roy McCurdy, Eric Alexander, David Hazeltine, Frank Strazzerri, Jon Faddis, Keeter Betts, and has made frequent appearances with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Pops on guitar and banjo.
