Alevtina Kakhidze: Learn the History of Ukraine through Art
Kastanje Dutch-Ukrainian Cultural Center invites you to a lecture by Ukrainian artist Alevtina Kakhidze.
In her works, Alevtina Kakhidze critically examines the socio-political changes in Ukraine. Growing up in the Donetsk region, she participated in the Maidan protests, witnessed the annexation of Crimea, and continues to highlight russia's war against Ukraine in her art. During the lecture, she will explore themes such as consumer behavior, ecology, feminism, and life in peace and war zones.
