About this Event
Join us on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM in the Sockman Lounge in the Interchurch Building for a special evening honoring our A'Lelia Bundles Community scholars.
This mixer offers an opportunity for current scholars, prospective applicants, and Columbia University community members to connect and hear more about the program. Attendees will hear from four current scholars about why they applied and the work they are doing.
A'Lelia Bundles Community Scholars at Columbia University are members of the Upper Manhattan community who receive a three-year affiliation with Columbia and access to campus resources while they work on a project or skill that relates to or benefits their community. Bundles Scholars join an intellectual community with the other participants in the program and can connect with the University's intellectual life.
This is more than a networking event—it's a celebration of the meaningful connections being forged between our institution and our neighbors.
Location
The event will be held in Sockman Lounge, 61 Claremont Ave, New York, NY 10115. Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
Registration
Attendance is free and open to Bundles Scholars, members of the Columbia community and prospective applicants, but registration is limited. Please RSVP by Monday April 7 at noon.
The Bundles Scholars program is a joint initiative of Columbia University’s Office of Government and Community Affairs (GCA), Office of the Provost, School of Professional Studies, and the Incite Institute.
