The City of Aledo invites you to join a weeklong community celebration honoring the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. From July 3–8, enjoy a series of events that bring history, community and patriotism together.On July 3, 2026, Aledo will travel back in time and explore the eras of American Freedom and Spirit with a themed parade happening in Downtown Aledo. Each float will be tied to a key period of time or trait and will be made up of community organizations, businesses and residents.
