Charleston School of Law’s Animal Legal Defense Fund will be hosting their annual Bark n’ Brew event on 11/22/24 from 5-8!100% of the proceeds from the event will go to a local animal rescue, Southern Paws Animal Rescue, that has a Western North Carolina location. As we know, Hurricane Helene devastated this area, and we want to help the animals and community in this region. We will have adoptable dogs from Libby & Mace’s Place and a silent auction to benefit the animal rescues. There will also be a box set up for pet food and supplies that will be donated to a local animal shelter.The event will be held at Over the Horizon Brewing at 2200 Heriot Street in Charleston, and they will be having live music! Ticket sales include food, which will be pizza, fries, and salad.
