Alderwood Community Fund Launch Party - 90's Dance Party & Video Game Fun

What's the occasion, you may ask?

In celebration of a special milestone - 40 years young - I am launching the Alderwood Community Fund, a permanent endowment held at the Toronto Foundation. More details on this below :) All tickets will be sold via direct, tax-deductible donations to the Fund.

About the Alderwood Community Foundation

As Alderwood continues to grow and evolve, this Fund is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: that strong communities don't just happen - they are nurtured, protected, and built over time. The Fund will help safeguard and enrich the connection, care, and spirit that make Alderwood so special.

Through annual grantmaking, the Fund will support local initiatives that strengthen social connection, advance climate action and resilience, and empower our young people.

In the coming months, a dedicated community governance committee will be established to help guide funding decisions.
