Alchemy of Ink with Artist Molly Holmlund: Create your own Holiday Cards
Come join us for a fun and creative event where you can learn the art of ink alchemy with the talented artist Molly Holmlund! In this hands-on workshop, you will get to unleash your creativity and design your very own unique holiday cards using ink techniques taught by Molly herself.
We will experiment with natural inks from foraged materials gathered in the Gorge, made by Molly. Each participant will leave with a set of 5 cards, including envelopes, and will learn techniques and insight into the world of alchemy.
Molly Holmlund is an artist living in White Salmon, Washington. She makes her inks by gathering materials around her and coaxing them down to their singular color. The layers of translucent colors create new colors and shapes, interacting in often surprising ways and offering their own language of color.
