ALBW is excited to host the Anne Lister Society conference and the annual ALBW Birthday Bash again in 2026! AND - we are very excited to present ALBW Live with Pat Esgate and Sally Wainwright as we talk all things Riot Women!
The Anne Lister Society: ALS is back again at ALBW for its fifth year, and we couldn’t be prouder to host this fascinating event. This year will feature two full days of papers and presentations, including two sessions jointly sponsored by the West Yorkshire Archive Service and ALS. The ALS is dedicated to fostering sustained research and scholarly conversation about Anne Lister — to establish her place in the historical and literary record and to interpret the rich legacies of her life and writing for the future.
