Alberta Society of Radiologists' 2026 Breast Imaging Review

With technologists and radiologists from across the province coming together, we are delighted to once again meet in person to exchange ideas, share expertise, and advance the delivery of breast imaging in Alberta.

Through engaging lectures, case-based learning, and a patient’s firsthand perspective, participants will further enhance their expertise in delivering exceptional breast imaging services—supporting Alberta’s continued leadership in women’s health.

Learning Objectives:

After attending the meeting, participants will be able to:

• Apply the Canadian recommendations for optimal breast biopsy practices.
• Describe the key pathological requirements for breast biopsy specimens (and explain how these elements inform diagnostic accuracy).
• Identify the legal and ethical considerations inherent in consent for breast imaging and interventions.
• Appraise breast images and employ appropriate techniques to enhance image quality and diagnostic accuracy.
• Summarize the advancements in BI-RADS v2025 and their relevance to practice in Alberta.
• Recognize the reporting elements that are most important to surgical management.

• *We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express). E-transfers and e-payment sites like PayPal are not available. Payment must be made in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and all fees are subject to GST and Eventbrite fees.

Credits:

• Certificates of attendance will be emailed to attendees after the event.
