Alberta-Indonesia Energy Forum

Hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, in strategic partnership with the Calgary Economic Development and the Government of Alberta, the forum positions Alberta companies at the centre of Indonesia’s rapidly expanding energy market; one of the largest and fastest‑growing in Southeast Asia. Indonesia continues to open its energy sector to international investment, offering new oil and gas working areas, improved regulatory certainty, and strong demand growth projected through 2040.

Taking place in Calgary in June 2026, alongside the Global Energy Show, this forum is designed to capitalize on the presence of global energy stakeholders already in Alberta. The program will highlight Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas landscape, policy direction, and concrete project opportunities, while demonstrating where Alberta expertise, technology, and capital can align with Indonesia’s development priorities.
