Tom lived in his van for 4.5 months in Southeast Alaska guiding bicycle tours for Sockeye Cycle in the charming seaside town of Haines.
Guiding was the anchor of the summer but there was no shortage of personal and social adventures. He traveled over 5,000 miles soaking up all that Alaska, the Yukon Territory and British Columbia had to offer. Not to mention the cross country Lower 48 experiences to get to and from Ohio.
