Join us for the Alaska Native Artist Market hosted by the Alaska Native Heritage Center at the 2026 Arctic Encounter Summit (April 15-18) in Anchorage. The Artist Market will be held on the first floor of the Dena'ina Civic and Convention Center and is FREE for the general public to attend. Shop from Alaska Native artist vendors selling jewelry, artwork, carvings, hand-sewn clothing, accessories, and more.
The 2026 Alaska Native Artist Market will showcase Alaska Native artists, designers, cultural entrepreneurs, and creatives whose work reflects identity, land, story, resilience, and innovation. Produced in collaboration with the Alaska Native Heritage Center and Arctic Encounter, this partnership helps ensure the market is grounded in authenticity, cultural integrity, and meaningful community connection.
The expanded 2026 market will:
1. Feature a larger footprint and increased visibility within the Summit experience, as well as public access for non-Summit participant sales
2. Highlight Indigenous and Arctic artists from across Alaska and beyond
3. Connect artists directly with an international audience of policymakers, investors, military leaders, diplomats, business executives, and community changemakers
4. Provide a platform for storytelling, cultural exchange, and economic opportunity
The Arctic is not only a geopolitical focal point. It is a living, creative, and culturally rich region. This market reflects that truth.
