Alan R. Morris was a man devoted to community and Nature. He has passed on into nature and now the community must come together to remember. We want to celebrate the way his unique view of life is still here, alive within the community that he left behind. Celebrating on Earth day seemed appropriate, even though Earth Day wasn't radical enough for Alan. The house will be open all day with snacks and people coming and going. The main time for people to gather will be from 6-10 PM. We'll have a potluck starting at 6 PM and then speakers to talk about Alan starting at 7 PM. We'll also have a spot in the house for people to share music and poetry, a drum circle around a bonfire in the back and other activities all happening in tandem. If you would like to host an activity any time during the day then please post about it here, and we will help to facilitate. Hopefully we can all embody the utopia in community that Alan talked about. Also eat drink and be merry, because the Earth is taking us for a ride.
