On behalf of the City of Alameda, I invite you to the 4th Annual Alameda Spring Shindig! This exciting community event will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Alameda Point Gymnasium and Field from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Last year, we welcomed over 3,000 attendees and hosted over 90 vendors. This free, family-friendly event, which occurs just three days before Earth Day, offers a unique opportunity for the community to connect with local organizations, participate in Earth Day activities, and promote environmental awareness.
We are eager to present healthy choices crafted from natural and sustainable ingredients. Furthermore, we want to emphasize community organizations that support individuals of all ages and vendors who provide unique homemade gifts and advocate for local and global initiatives, making this event welcoming for all.
This year, we’re embracing the theme of Superheroes! We’d love for you to join us for the fun by decorating your booth or getting creative and dressing up.
We’re also thrilled to celebrate Earth Day. If you find the Superheroes theme isn’t quite your style, embracing the beauty of Earth and celebrating all things Spring will be incredible, too!
Booth Information:
Set-Up Time: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Event Time: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Breakdown Time: After 3:00 PM
Booth Fee: $50 (includes a 6-foot table and two chairs)
Electricity: Available upon request (limited supply)
Booth Assignments: Made in the order received
Spaces Available: Indoor and outdoor options
Rain or Shine: The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions

Activities at Your Booth:
To enhance the event experience, we encourage all vendors to include interactive or engaging activities at their booths.
Examples include:
Offering small crafts or DIY projects for kids and families
Hosting games or challenges related to your organization’s mission
Providing free samples, demonstrations, or tutorials
Sharing educational materials or fun facts about your work
Setting up a photo booth or themed props for attendees to enjoy
These activities will help draw attendees to your booth and make the event even more memorable for everyone.
Donations: We welcome donations of sample products, marketing materials, and giveaways to enhance the event experience.
Please send these items Stacy Thomas at the above mailing address. Organizations may also sponsor booth fees for other groups by donating an additional $50. Sponsors will be recognized during the event for their generous contributions.

Groups unable to afford the booth fee should contact Stacy Thomas for assistance.
