About this Event
DA Candidate Forum
Date: Saturday, January 25th from 11am-1pm
Location: In person in Oakland & Online
Following Alameda County's District Attorney Recall, the County Board of Supervisors are tasked to appoint a new DA on February 4th. Community coalitions focused on progressive solutions to public safety and re-entry are organizing a public community forum to give residents the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates applying for the position.
This hybrid event will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about each candidate's platform, hear their stances on pressing community issues like public safety, restorative justice, police accountability, diversion, and more. Hear directly from the candidates & share your voice about about what justice should look like in our community. Alameda County Supervisors are also invited to join the forum to hear community's priorities and inform their deliberation.
Join us for the DA Candidate Forum on Saturday, January 25th from 11am-1pm!
*The event location will be updated as soon as it's confirmed.*

The Justice Reinvestment Coalition of Alameda County is committed to creating a fair and just public safety system based on effective practices that invest in our communities, our families, and our people
