Auxiliary members you are invited to School of Instruction. Learn about the Program Engagement Plans (PEP) for 2025-2026, and have fun!Registration 10:30am
"As we begin to start our District Schools of Instruction, many newer members may not know exactly what these are :
The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) offers a "School of Instruction" within each District, 30 days after the close of Department Workshop. These schools are designed to educate members on the ALA's programs, current initiatives, and the Department President's theme and chosen charity. They are a great opportunity for both new and experienced members to learn and connect with others in the organization while learning about the Program Engagement Plans and any special award criteria.
The District Presidents discuss with their District Chairpersons how they wish to host the class. Some may do it like a science fair , where you visit the tables and have conversations with the Chairs. Other times, the Chairs will go up and present a Power Point, Speech, or other ways to let the members know about the ALA programs.
Each school is unique in its own way . They are a valuable resource to continuing to work our mission. "
