Alafia Healing Fest

Join Let’s Be Whole, our sponsors, CalMHSA, Take Action LA and our community partners for the Alafia Healing Festival on May 31, 2026, at Leimert Park Village on People Street! This fun and transformative cultural experience features various arts healing workshops, including mask making, jewelry making, memory painting, music, African dance and “heritage foods as medicine.”

A centerpiece of the event is our Alkebulan Healing Circle—a supportive group session dedicated to addressing community trauma and fostering collective resilience. We’ll also have free wellness giveaways, an herbal tea ceremony, and vital mental health resources available. Come heal with us through art, culture, and community.
