The George C. Miller Scholarship is awarded yearly to students in Summit County in memory of the first African-American principal in Akron Public Schools, Mr. George C. Miller. The Miller-South School For the Visual and Performing Arts is named in honor of Mr. Miller, who not only made significant contributions to education but was also a dedicated member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. It is our pleasure to continue Mr. Miller’s legacy by supporting students as they continue their education! The GCM Scholarship Luncheon is Saturday May 4, 2024 11am-1pm at the Hilton Garden Inn 1307 E.Market St. Akron,OH 44305! Tickets are $50 or $400 for a table of 8! All proceeds go to scholarships for our Summit County high seniors who will enter college in Fall 2024!
