The team from Mātātoa - Time 2 Train will lead you through on shore drills where you will learn some basic reo (Māori language), and tikanga (Māori customary practices) in preparation for the unique experience of paddling a waka.

- Cost: Free
- Lifejackets and paddles provided.
- All ages are welcome. The little ones can sit between older participants, and are not required to paddle, however, all those aged 7+ are expected to paddle.
- Please be aware that this activity is weather dependent so if the wind/swell is not right we will either make a call before the start or on the day itself.
- Bookings are essential as numbers are limited.
