Ak’chamel, The Giver of Illness creates a singular sound of desert-scorched psychedelia, post-apocalyptic shamanism, and impish ritual folk - as unique as the physical theater of their intense live performances.For over fifteen years they have released dozens of cassettes, several vinyl records, and a handful of cryptic VHS tapes. The group remains veiled in mystery, yet they tour often - having performed at Roadburn Fest, Le Guess Who?, End of the Road, and many other prestigious festivals - bringing their plague into the ravaged heart of the world.
