Experience an Exclusive Bluefin Tuna Cutting Show at AKAI Sushi
AKAI Sushi is proud to present another unforgettable Maguro Kaitai Show, a rare and immersive dining experience celebrating the centuries-old Japanese tradition of whole tuna cutting. This extraordinary event will feature limited seating — only 80 guests per night — making it a truly special evening in the heart of Oklahoma City.
The Kaitai Show is more than dinner. It is an evening of Japanese tradition, fine craftsmanship, and culinary artistry. Guests will enjoy a four-course seated dinner enhanced with complimentary amuse-bouche and refreshing intermezzos, thoughtfully curated to highlight the skill and creativity of Executive Chef Yukio Kamada.

- Dates: March 23 & 24 (choose your preferred date when selecting tickets)
- Time: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. each night
- Tickets: $180-$300 (choose your preferred seat when selecting tickets)
Evening Schedule
6:00 p.m. – Doors open with complimentary appetizers; cocktails available for purchase
6:30 p.m. – Maguro Kaitai performance: Chef Yukio Kamada masterfully breaks down a whole Bluefin Tuna, sharing the centuries-old Japanese tradition of tuna cutting
7:00 p.m. – Four-course seated dinner featuring exquisite tuna dishes and curated accompaniments, complemented by amuse-bouche and palate-cleansing intermezzos throughout the evening
10:00 p.m. – Evening close, or stay for a celebratory after-party
