Chất Lượng Không Khí và Sức Khỏe Cộng Đồng ở Vùng South Sacramento

Tham gia cùng cư dân và các nhóm dựa vào cộng đồng vào Thứ Tư, ngày 25 tháng 9, từ 6:30 chiều đến 8:30 tối tại Millenium Event Center tọa lạc tại 5650 Power Inn Road #500 (trên đường Fruitridge Road và đường Power Inn Road để tìm hiểu về tác động của khí thải xe cộ đối với sức khỏe cộng đồng và cách bạn có thể cải thiện chất lượng không khí ở Vùng S. Sacramento.
Cư dân Sacramento phải đối mặt với nhiều thách thức về sức khỏe do chất lượng không khí kém và một số cộng đồng bị ảnh hưởng nhiều hơn những cộng đồng khác do tiếp xúc với khí thải từ phương tiện giao thông, một phần là do họ ở gần các con đường lớn và xa lộ. Sự kiện này là một trong nhiều nỗ lực trên khắp Quận Sacramento (County) nhằm giải quyết và thực hiện hành động nhằm cải thiện sức khỏe cộng đồng và hiểu rõ vấn đề khí thải xe cộ.
Sự kiện này là một phần của dự án Sacramento Vehicle Emission Project do Bộ Tư Pháp California (California Department of Justice) tài trợ. Nỗ lực này được dẫn dắt bởi một liên minh đa dạng tiến hành khảo sát tác động sức khỏe và giám sát chất lượng không khí trong khu vực West Arden-Arcade, North Highlands, South Sacramento, North Vineyard, và Gardenland-Northgate.

Come learn about community resources to improve public health and air quality in Sacramento! There will be free food, entertainment, and giveaways! Please register for food and event planning purposes, and to guarantee a spot at the event.
Join residents and community-based groups on Wednesday September 25th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Millennium Event Center, located at 5650 Power Inn Rd #500, Sacramento, CA 95824 (on Fruitridge Road and Power Inn Road) to learn about vehicle emissions impacts to public health, and how you can improve air quality in unincorporated South Sacramento.
Sacramento residents face many health challenges due to poor air quality and some communities are more impacted than others by vehicle emission exposure due, in part, to their proximity to major roads and freeways. This community-led event is one of many efforts across Sacramento County to address and take action on public health impacts from vehicle emissions.
This event is a part of the Sacramento County Vehicle Emissions Project funded by the California Department of Justice. The effort is led by a diverse coalition conducting mobile air monitoring and assessing health impacts in the West Arden Arcade, North Highlands, South Sacramento, North Vineyard and Gardenland-Northgate areas.
The first 50 attendees 16 years old and up will receive Target Gift cards.
