The AIMS KIDS RUN SERIES is a global initiative aimed at inspiring a love for running and fitness in young children around the world. In Dhaka, we aim to create an environment that promotes physical activity and well-being while bringing families closer. This event is more than just a run—it’s a celebration of health, happiness, and community.
Mirpur Runners, Run Bangla – AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) is thrilled to announce the launch of the KIDS RUN SERIES in Dhaka, an exciting event dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and joy among young children in Bangladesh. This is the first event of its kind in the region, designed to bring together children aged Infant to 13 for a memorable day of running, games, and community bonding!
AIMS KIDS SERIES is all about encouraging kids to stay active while having fun. It's a non-competitive, family-friendly event where children get to participate in 3 category of 100 meters, 500 meters and 1KM run, enjoy exciting activities, and celebrate their accomplishments together.
Event Highlights:
🎈 Colorful Fun Run: Kids will run, play, and laugh through a safe 100 meters, 500 meters and 1KM course decorated with colorful stations, balloons, and cheering zones. It’s all about making memories, not speed!

(1) 100 Meters Run.
Age limit Infant-4 years
Time Limit: No Time Limits
(2) 500 meter Run
Age limits 5-8 years
No Time Limits
(3) 1KM Run.
Age limit 9-13 years
Time Limit: No Time Limits
🎉 Medals and Certificates for All Participants: Every child is a winner! Each participant will receive a special AIMS medal and certificate to celebrate their achievement and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
🎊 Family Fun Activities: After the run, families can enjoy an array of entertaining activities, from face painting and games to live music and photo booths.
🍎 Healthy Snacks & Refreshments: A selection of kid-friendly snacks and refreshing drinks will be available to keep our little athletes energized and hydrated.
🏅 Special Awards: Small prizes will be awarded for categories like “Biggest Smile,” “Most Colorful Runner,” and “Spirit of the Day” to recognize the unique spirit each child brings to the event.
