Dennis Evanosky is an award-winning Alameda historian, journalist, author, and local publisher who has spent decades documenting the history of Alameda and the East Bay. Through books, newspaper columns, lectures, and walking tours, he has become one of the city’s most recognizable voices on local history, architecture, preservation, and community development.
