We are excited to bring you our February speaker, Mr. Phong La, Alameda County Assessor!
Mr. La has lived in Alameda County since 1980 when his family moved to the US as refugees from Vietnam. A true Alameda County resident, he graduated from James Logan High School in Union City, lived in Fremont after law school, and him and his wife settled in the City of Alameda. He received his BA from UC Davis in 2000, and JD from the University of California’s Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 2003.
