About this Event
United Brick and Fireplace will be hosting AIA Wisconsin in their westside showroom for happy hour with drinks and food. Come mingle and explore their showroom to learn about fireplaces, brick, and stone. The presentation will be at 5:30pm focusing on the design and installation of fireplaces.
Learning Objectives:
By attending the program, participants will be able to:
- Specify a fireplace based on location and fuel type.
- Identify code requirements and how to design for fireplace mechanical function.
- Describe the various styles of fireplaces available, from built-in fireplaces to free standing stoves.
- Apply the information shared to design a fireplace surround.
- Explain the positive effects of spaces with fireplaces.

Walk-ins welcome the day of the event but registering will allow us to plan accordingly for ordering food and drink. If you registered for the event and cannot attend, please cancel your registration, otherwise you will be charged a $20 no-show fee.
