About this Event
All are welcome to join AIA Phoenix Metro Women in Architecture for a guided tour of the Glendale Civic Campus revitalization as it nears substantial completion. The project reimagines Glendale City Hall and Council Chambers, Murphy Park, and the Lowell E. Rogers Amphitheater through thoughtful interior and exterior renovations that strengthen civic identity and enhance the public realm.
During the tour, architects from Holly Street Studio and Lightvox Studio will share insights into the design process, challenges, and strategies used to modernize these civic spaces and enhance the public experience. This event offers a chance to learn from women leaders in architecture, connect with peers, and explore a transformative civic project in downtown Glendale.
Those who had attended the previous tour in September may be interested in attending this tour as well because the project is nearing completion both inside and out.
Tour begins promptly at 5:30PM. Attendees will receive 1.0 HSW LU from AIA.
This event is $10 for all AIA members (Architects, Associates and Allied). Non-members can attend for $25. Please register in advance as tour capacity is limited.
PPE is required for this tour. Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, sleeved shirts. Bring your own saftey vests, glasses and hard hats.
