About this Event
Join AIA Grand Canyon members on Tuesday, April 28 for a tour of the award-winning restoration of the historic 1931 Prescott Post Office and Federal Courthouse—an iconic civic landmark thoughtfully revitalized for contemporary use.
Originally constructed as the first purpose-built post office for the City of Prescott, this remarkable structure served the community continuously since 1931 with minimal alteration, retaining an exceptional level of historic integrity. Guided by the owner’s deep commitment to preservation, the project carefully balances adaptive reuse with stewardship of original architectural character.
Participants will explore how the building has been transformed to accommodate professional office space and an event venue, while thoughtfully integrating a functioning postal station for continued use by USPS.
Attendees will receive 1.0 HSW from AIA.
Free for all AIA Arizona members (Architects, Associates, Allied). $15 for Non-Members.
