About this Event

Welcome to the AI Roadshow!

Ever wondered what Artificial Intelligence (AI) means, whether you should trust it and whether it affects you? Does AI have any impact on your bank loans, healthcare or education?

Annabel, Keeley and Kaleem are here to explore what AI means for you and how it may affect you during our free 2-hour AI Roadshow.

We are researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University with a passion for discussing the benefits and dangers of AI systems, and for making sure that the voices of all people affected by AI systems are heard during their development and use. We plan to set up a Manchester People’s Panel for AI, with free training about AI, what questions we should ask and how, and then invite the panel members to question the use of AI in Manchester City Council services.
