Practical case studies. Real conversations. No hype.
AI is everywhere, but what does it actually look like in practice?
About this Event

AI in Action - Networking with Real Intelligence brings together business owners, professionals, founders, consultants, AI experts and operators who want to move beyond theory and see how AI is being used right now to save time, improve decision-making, streamline operations and create new opportunities.

This is a conversational, down-to-earth event focused on real examples, real lessons and real people, hosted by AAIIG.

MC'd by Wendy Perry, Workforce BluePrint MD, Facilitator Sea to Valley Startups, Founder Switch Start Scale, you'll hear from:

  • Michael Levene, CEO @ ExIQ
  • CORE Innovation Hub
  • Shane Boulden who is a solution architect at Red Hat, supporting Fortune 500 companies and government organisations across Australia and the region to adopt open source technologies; and
  • Dante St James, who works with small business, corporates, government and not for profits to better integrate AI into everyday workflows. In this session he will show you the tools he has used to assist these clients to build their own software, communicate better and standardise their processes across the organisation.

What to expect

  • Short, sharp talks from speakers using AI in their day-to-day work
  • Practical case studies showing what worked, what didn’t, and why
  • Examples across business, workforce, marketing, operations, data, and service delivery
  • Genuine networking with people experimenting, implementing and learning (not selling hype)

Who should attend?

This event is ideal for:

  • AI practitioners and technical specialists
  • Business owners and leaders
  • Consultants and advisors
  • Workforce, HR and people professionals
  • Entrepreneurs and startup founders
  • Educators, trainers and industry practitioners
  • Anyone curious about using AI practically rather than theoretically

Why this event is different

  1. AI conversations often sit at two extremes: overly technical or overly vague.
  2. This session sits firmly in the middle – clear, applied and grounded.

You’ll leave with new ideas you can actually test including:

  • A clearer sense of where AI fits (and where it doesn’t)
  • Connections with people navigating the same questions
  • Confidence to take a next step, however small

Free Tickets - Limited numbers to keep the conversation interactive.

Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and join a smarter conversation about AI – one grounded in real intelligence, not buzzwords.
