Your Topic:
AI companions β friend or foe?
AI companion apps (like Replika) are big business, set to make $47 billion (AUD) globally by 2032. Some are marketed as tutors or travel advisors, while others are sold as friends, for emotional support β or even romance. But the risks are high. Do they outweigh the rewards? Join us for an engaging discussion with Prof Lisa Given, as she examines if an AI companion can really be your new best friend.
