For our final session in our series on "Entrepreneurship in Asian High-Tech Industries", our panel will include startup founders that will discuss AI and media content in Japan.
Dr. Richard Dasher, Director of the US-Asia Technology Management Center, will serve as moderator.

Shiho Watabe, Chairperson, Shibuya Startups KK
Growing up in Shibuya city and eventually graduating from Stanford University with a master’s degree, Shiho began her career at global companies such as Morgan Stanley, Google, and Mercari before venturing into startups at various stages. She has lived and worked in Japan, South East Asia, Europe, and Africa before moving to Silicon Valley in 2014. Shiho’s latest endeavor, SWAR Inc. works with VCs and startups in Japan and Bay Area in their growth/marketing strategies. As a part of her role as an advisor to the city of Shibuya, Shiho works on the Shibuya Startup Support project, building a global startup ecosystem in Tokyo.
