Meet the speakers
Wouter van Tankeren
Lecturer in Hotel Management at Breda University of Applied Sciences and member of the BUas AI Taskforce. He focuses on decision making, analytical skills, and digital and AI literacy. In his session, he will break down AI by explaining what it is and is not, how it works in practice, and how AI driven decisions are actually made in a business context.
Wouter Geerts
Director of Market Research at Mews, responsible for market research, competitive intelligence, and thought leadership. With previous roles at Skift and Euromonitor and a PhD in hospitality, he brings a strong industry perspective. In his session, he explores how AI is being applied in revenue management today and in the near future, including developments such as generative and agentic AI, and what this means in practice.
Rebecca Suiker
VP Commercial at Sircle Collection with 12+ years of experience in building data driven commercial organizations. She will focus on the leadership skills needed to work with AI, including how to interpret, challenge, and confidently stand behind AI-supported decisions.
