Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way organisations approach learning, talent, and career development. For people professionals, this shift brings both opportunity and responsibility to understand how AI can enhance the employee experience while keeping humanity at the heart of career growth.

This session explores how AI is already being used to support skills development, internal mobility, and personalised learning. Attendees will gain practical insights into how to integrate AI tools ethically and effectively into existing HR and L&D strategies, even within smaller organisations.

By the end of the session, you’ll understand the key trends shaping the future of career development, discover simple tools you can start using right away, and feel more confident discussing AI’s potential with leaders, managers, and employees.



Speaker’s bio:

Yvonne Akinmodun, Chartered FCIPD, is an experienced Executive Career Coach and former HR leader with over 25 years’ experience across public, private, and not-for-profit sectors. As the founder of Career Coaching Matters and a member of the CIPD West Kent Branch, she specialises in helping organisations and individuals navigate career development and change with confidence and purpose. Yvonne supports professionals to design inclusive, human-centred career strategies that empower employees to take ownership of their growth in an evolving world of work.
