Course Summary:
This course aims to give social workers the fundamental know-how to successfully negotiate the growing nexus between social work practice and technology. Identifying and integrating popular and next-wave AI tools and technologies into professional practice will receive particular focus. The course will also address critical considerations, including potential risks, challenges, and ethical concerns associated with using technology in social work and the need for progressive research in this growing area of social work.
